 * Many features in WP-Admin failed to operate after the update to plugin version
   7.5
 * I received the WP built-in error detection email, which advised:
 * > In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, Blubrry PowerPress.
 * and
 * > Error Details
   > ============= An error of type E_COMPILE_ERROR was caused in
   > line 2136 of the file /home/XXXXXXXX/public_html/wp-content/plugins/powerpress/
   > powerpressadmin.php. Error message: require_once(): Failed opening required‘
   > class.powerpresswebsub.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/cpanel/ea-php73/root/usr/
   > share/pear’)
 * What can we do to fix this? Or… Do we need to roll back to the working version?
 * Thanks.

 * Update… I forgot to mention, the plugin also fails; it only shows the shortcodes.
   Publishing of posts also throws an error saying “Your Site is Experiencing a
   Technical Issue…”
    **A temporary fix is to downgrade to version: 7.4.4**

 * Hello All,
 * Yes PowerPress 7.5 has a bug, it is missing the class.powerpresswebsub.php file
   in the plugin. We promptly released another update, PowerPress 7.5.1, that is
   the version you should update to. It can take up to 24 hours for plugin updates
   to appear in WordPress plugins screen. You can manually install PowerPress 7.5.1
   or downgrade as noted above then wait until the plugins page says that PowerPress
   7.5.1 is available.
 * Sorry for the inconvenience, this is totally my fault for missing the file.

 * **[@amandato](https://wordpress.org/support/users/amandato/)** Thank you! – Appreciated.
   I just updated to v.7.5.1 and it’s working. Nice! Woo hoo! Appreciated the follow
   up, thank you. Thanks too for letting me know it was that class.powerpresswebsub.
   php (it saved me from excessive server troubleshooting and the time that would
   take).
    Enjoy your day!

 * We’re not aware of our plugin causing a 500 error. 500 errors are server side,
   check your web hosting to see if you have access to the error.log for your web
   server. A quick look at the bottom of the error.log should tell you what is causing
   the 500 error. As far as updating posts/pages, it shouldn’t have anything to
   do with PowerPress. If you do see an error in your error.log that points to PowerPress,
   please copy/paste it here, we will address it right away.
 * If your hosting has caching (most do now days), make sure you clear your cache.
   It is possible the system cached a 500 error that was from a previous request.
 * We will be releasing PowerPress 7.5.2 later today, this next update will have
   this particular bug fixed.
 * Thanks,
    Angelo

 * We have released PowerPress 7.5.2, should resolve this issue permanently. Thanks
   for being patient with us!
