 * Hello
 * A similar question to the one asked by Nazar Hotsa just before: after the last
   WordPress plugin updates, my hosting software reports the following errors concerning
   WP-Cerber (I have just replaced the URL of my site by a generic title) :
 * – Failed to update the WordPress plugins.
    Notice: Constant CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS
   already defined in <URL of my site>/wp-content/plugins/wp-cerber/cerber-load.
   php on line 1489
 * – The WordPress plugins were updated with errors:
    Installation “My site”: Notice:
   Constant CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS already defined in <URL of my site>/wp-content/plugins/
   wp-cerber/cerber-load.php on line 1489
 * Why do I get this error after a plugin update ?
    Please note that in my hosting
   environment I have a main domain name, for example mysite.com, and a maintenance/
   staging domain with a subdomain prefix “staging”, so the maintetance domain name
   would be staging.mysite.com. The errors above refer to the staging domain.
 * Thanks a lot in advance for any helpful suggestion.
 * Best regards

 * Hi! It’s all about this: [https://wpcerber.com/how-to-protect-wordpress-against-cve-2018-6389/](https://wpcerber.com/how-to-protect-wordpress-against-cve-2018-6389/)
 * Your issues means that something is trying to define the CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS
   constant that is already defined in the plugin. You need to disable the **Protect
   admin scripts** setting in the Cerber settings or, if you don’t want to disable
   it, you need to figure out which plugin/theme on your site has a setting to disable/
   enable the JavaScript scripts and CSS files concatenation.
