# Update Error Message

 * Updating 7.0.1 -> 7.0.2 got the following error message:
 * Update Failed: Warning: require_once(/var/sites/w/websiteurl.co.uk/public_html/
   wp-content/plugins/wordfence/waf/../vendor/wordfence/wf-waf/src/init.php): failed
   to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/sites/w/websiteurl.co.uk/public_html/
   wp-content/plugins/wordfence/waf/bootstrap.php on line 13 Fatal error: require_once():
   Failed opening required ‘/var/sites/w/websiteurl.co.uk/public_html/wp-content/
   plugins/wordfence/waf/../vendor/wordfence/wf-waf/src/init.php’ (include_path=’.:/
   usr/newage/lib/php’) in /var/sites/w/websiteurl.co.uk/public_html/wp-content/
   plugins/wordfence/waf/bootstrap.php on line 13
 * Went back to plugins to try again and it now shows as Wordfence v7.0.2.
 * Any idea why this occurred? Does this mean I can ignore the update failure message?

 * Hi Elaine,
    It seems like the update was broken for unknown reason, could you
   please try reinstalling the plugin and re-check this issue? You can just delete
   it then re-install it again via WordPress Dashboard.

 * Hi,
 * Even though there was an error the plugin appears to have updated and now shows
   as v7.0.2. It appears to be working fine, even ran a scan.
 * Do you think I should still uninstall and reinstall?

 * Hi,
    Yes, I recommend reinstalling the plugin to make sure all the files are 
   updated correctly even if there is not any symptoms of broken update at the moment.
