I have been having another issue with file permissions for the theme I am using and I don’t know if the 2 are related. Here is the message I get. It was not until I went in and tried to edit under appearance that things broke and then after the update, things really broke. A manual upgrade shouldn’t cause this problem either. Have you tried deactivating** all** plugins to see if this resolves the problem?
