Hi Elias, thanks for reaching out!

I confirmed the file does exist so it shouldn’t be a problem with the plugin itself, but it sounds like something with your WP updator is preventing it from accessing the file in WP’s repo. In this case, I’d recommend trying updating with the zip file. This method involves is a little more involved than simply clicking update on the plugins page. You don’t need to leave your web browser, but you’ll need to download and then upload the files yourself.

    1. Download the zip file of version 5.0.6 from ww.wp.xz.cn
    2. Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
    3. Navigate to Plugins > Add New.
    4. Click the Upload Plugin button at the top of the screen.
    5. Select the zip file from your local file system that was downloaded in step 1.
    6. Click the Install Now button and wait for the installation process to complete.
    7. Since a previous version is already installed, you should see a comparison screen, click the button to replace the current version with the new one.

If you’re still getting any errors, let me know! Cheers.

    Thanks for your feedback.

It works again, after I noticed, that the hosting webspace was 100% full and I had to delete a bunch of stuff.

    All good now.

    Elias
