# Update Network Issue

 * I upgraded my wordpress mu to wordpress 3.0. Everything worked fine during installation.
   But when i m trying to upgrade network i m getting below error. Please post fix
   for it.
 * > Warning! Problem updating [http://XXXXXXXXXXXX.com](http://XXXXXXXXXXXX.com).
   > Your server may not be able to connect to sites running on it. Error message:
   > couldn’t connect to host

 * The server must be able to resolve you XXXXXXX.com site.
 * On Linux, you would make sure there is an entry in the ‘/etc/hosts’ file such
   as:
 * 127.0.0.1 XXXX.com
 * Or make sure your internal dns resolution can do the work properly.
 * Up to you, the easiest is the hosts file.
 * Perhaps there should be a ticket to discuss allowing ‘localhost’ loop back and
   not going through tcp.

    Did you get any solution ?
 * in my /etc/hosts file i got an entry with the server ip followed by the website,
   like this :
 * XXX.XXX.XXX.XX XXXXXXXXXX.com
 * I really don’t know what to do….
 * Please give me some help !
