# Update Post Settings

 * Hope you are doing well!
 * Question regarding the “update post” settings.
 * In the current settings there are two options to choose from. Would it be possible
   to add a third option, like in the screenshot? clear **only** the cache for the
   post/page which has been updated.
 * I use the 2nd option, “clear cache of the post / page, post categories etc.” 
   With these settings, when I update (a) certain page(s), all pages that share 
   the same category or tag will be cleared, while this is completely unnecessary.
 * You could also say/think, turn the “update post” setting off. I did, but I have
   a members with their own page and when they update their page, the cache isn’t
   not cleared.

 * you are right. post cache should be cleared even though the “update post” option
   is disabled.

 * I added the feature. you need to delete wp fastest cache and download the following
   version to get the latest changes.
