That looks to be a theme related issue. Have you tried contacting the theme’s developer about it?
Try:
– switching to the default theme automatically by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.
– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.
– re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and the wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.
– running the upgrade manually via wp-admin/upgrade.php
Thanks for your help, looks like i’ll have to get some one off elance to do it as some what above my level of expertise.
You don’t have to go that route just yet.
Where does the error happen? Is it visible just on the Admin side? Is the site still functioning? If the site is still appearing properly then it means you have a plugin/theme issue. Try switching to the default theme, as esmi stated, and try deactivating all the plugins. 🙂
Thanks for that, will try that now. The site is displaying fine. will deactivate the plugins now.
