 * Hi – I’m fairly new to word press having a few probs withthe auto update procedure
   
   With me it gets this far
 * Downloading update from [http://wordpress.org/wordpress-2.8.4.zip](http://wordpress.org/wordpress-2.8.4.zip).
 * Unpacking the update.
 * Could not copy files.
 * Installation Failed
 * So is this a permissions thing? I’m running Ubuntu and php5
 * Could someone let us know what the recomended permisisions should be for the 
   directory structure?
 * I have hacked away with chmod 777 on various folders – still no luck
    any thoughts
   appreciated.
