 * I’ve created a lot of maps and I tried to do the “upgrade” but it never completes.
   Can I do the update from the command-line or directly in MySQL? If so, how?

 * Hey [@clausing](https://wordpress.org/support/users/clausing/) – how many maps
   have you created exactly? With how many markers specifically? There’s no MySQL
   way to upgrade unfortunately. You can, however, bypass the upgrade if needed.

 * Hi [@clausing](https://wordpress.org/support/users/clausing/),
 * If you need to you can also manually trigger the update again by just revisiting
   the url. Here’s an example:
 * [http://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/options.php?page=gmb-upgrades](http://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/options.php?page=gmb-upgrades)
 * Alternatively, you might need to talk to your host about upping your PHP max
   timeout even if just temporarily.
 * Keep us updated on how it goes.

 * 40 maps, most have 1 marker, but 1 has 40

 * I’ve hit the upgrade URL about 10 times now

 * It must be getting stuck somewhere and never completing. Do the maps still appear
   Ok?

 * Nope, now I get blank spaces where the maps used to be
