  • I upgraded to the new version (3.6).
    The plugin does not work anymore!
    It requires updating database, but does not start. He asks click button to start, but the button does not work: You can not click. Now everything is stopped. I can not see ads.
    The site is completely blocked and will not work anymore!

    And ‘possible return to the previous version now please?
    How can I do ?

    If you uninstall awpcp lose advertisements or photos or files ????

    Dear Dave, I understand that this update has many improvements and I am sure you will help me as you always have. And ‘you can not now have the chance to do it right away. I beg you to tell me how to get back to the previous version without losing data. Then slowly try to understand what happens. I can uninstall the plugin? Where can I download the previous version? Do you have a link? That way I can fix the situation, because now the plugin does not work and many pages of my site are empty. Thanks again.

    I had lost hope. I made one last attempt. And now ‘POSSIBLE click the “upgrade”. I managed to do the upgrade. The plugin is active. I believe that now it works fine! I do not know why the “upgrade” was not working previously …
    Now it ‘all ok!

    Its still not working for me.

    Strange behavior. My site works fine now. If you go to the page that tells you is to upgrade? If so, you can try a different browser, or clear the cache. My problem was different, but these things have helped …

    If the browser suggestion didn’t do anything, try a plugin conflict test and then try the upgrade again. Here is an article about how to test for theme and plugin conflicts with AWPCP, which may help pinpoint the issue: http://awpcp.com/forum/faq/how-to-test-for-plugintheme-conflicts/

    Thanks, I sent off a message last night and am just waiting to hear back… hopefully this gets resolved soon I use this plugin for business.

    Also I disabled all plugin and tried the update with no luck and then tried it on 2 different computer in 3 different browsers and then also tried to switch out themes with no luck.

    I’m going through email now–so if you sent something I’ll respond shortly. Let’s keep the conversation there to avoid confusion.

    That’s fine but I do not think this ticket should say resolved when it is clearly not.

    I mark threads as “Resolved” not because they’re done (I *always* respond if you do, like this πŸ™‚ ) but for housekeeping purposes. Most people never mark their own thread, so I do that for a tidy forum.
