# Update to 3.2.1. & PHP error message

 * I’ve updated WordPress and I receive the following error message:
 * Your server is running PHP version 4.4.9 but WordPress 3.2.1 requires at least
   5.2.4.
 * I’ve already verified with my host that my PHP is at 5.2.6. Can anyone help please?

 * Hi mbiador,
 * To verify your host is providing you correct information, I would suggest looking
   at your phpinfo.php page. This will tell you the specifics.

 * Thanks Tim! I checked the phpinfo.php page and it still gives me the message.
 * This is also the info my host gave me:
 * **[root@prometheia ~]# php -v
    PHP 5.2.6 (cgi) (built: Jan 18 2009 03:16:32)
 * Don’t know if that could help solve the problem. Thank you in advance!
