Could you tell us more about those issues? Custom Sidebars is maintained, but there weren’t any major issues in a long time so the version seems “outdated”.
If I could get more details of the problem with cache, I will be happy to investigate and if there is bug it will be reported to the developers.

This plugin was updated 9 months ago and is not tested for new WordPress version.

The plugin is working well with WordPress version 5.3.2, there were no major issues with latest version.
