# Update to v7 – No custom fields

 * Amongst all the other issues posted here with the release of v7, all my custom
   fields have gone after the upgrade.
 * In fact I do not have a Custom Fields menu at all in the Directorist menu-group
   as your documentation is showing currently in your website ([https://directorist.com/documentation/directorist/customization/custom-fields-on-add-listing-page/](https://directorist.com/documentation/directorist/customization/custom-fields-on-add-listing-page/))
   although I suspect it is a very old image as it has update to WP 5.2 at the top.
 * Does your update mean that customers with extended directories and custom fields
   will have to pretty much rebuild them????

 * I’m on 7.0.2 which says about fixing it in the release notes but it still doesn’t
   appear for me. Anything I need to do to force it?

 * Please go to Admin menu > Directory Listings > Directory Builder > Submission

 * You can create custom fields and drag and drop them to the desired position.
