 * I think I installed the “Ultimate Addons Gutenberg Blocks” on two WP multisites(
   on shared hosting, rather low performance) just out of interest what is possible
   and if Gutenberg Core alone might not suffice.
   It seems some Update to now Spectra(
   by Brainstorm Force) has broken the setup: on one MS the plugin was not recognized
   anymore, did throw some casual backend error and I had to deinstall manually.
   On the second site after an update (not at the same time) the editing of Posts
   did give a general WP error. There I could deinstall the Plugin in the Backend.
   After that post editing did work again. I noticed after deinstalling all posts/
   pages created after the installation have custom code also on standard tags like
   h2 : div class=”wp-block-uagb-advanced-heading uagb-block-435d82e2″h2 class=”
   uagb-heading-text”which standard Gutenberg does not recognize anymore for editing
   and get converted to HTML where the custom code needs to be removed manually
   for h2 etc. to work. I am not happy with how that all went and for now will stay
   away from Block editor extensions, at least such that I do not absolutely need.

 * Hello [@chrisfo](https://wordpress.org/support/users/chrisfo/)
 * I’m Mehedi Hasan, from the Spectra team. Please accept our deepest apologies
   for the recent update_(Version 2.12.0 – 22 Jan 2024)_ breaks. This was never
   meant to happen, and we are truly sorry for the inconvenience caused.
 * The error was due to an internal code conflict. Generally, we perform an extensive
   test before releasing an update but somehow this unforeseen issue slipped through.
   We will take steps to ensure this doesn’t happen again!
 * We have immediately_(within 3 hours)_ released a hotfix version to address the
   issue. If you use any version later 2.12.0, it should work just fine.
 * I understand how frustrating it was when you got the error. We take full responsibility
   and are committed to minimizing it in the future.
 * **Regarding the leftover class:Generally, when you build a page with a block,
   that utilizes CSS based on its class. Removing the plugin manually from files
   won’t remove the class. This principle applies to all plugins. I hope you understand.
 * Can we work together to find a solution that works for you? Spectra is a great
   extension for Gutenberg, and I’m sure if you give it another try, you’ll love
   it.
 * Regards,
 * Mehedi Hasan, from Spectra team.

 * As written above I will avoid any unnecessary (Block) plugin at least on the
   main (uncommercial) WP sites I manage. I did not need Spectra WGB for a specific
   feature, it was just curiosity to test advanced Blocks. Maybe I will install
   and test again on strict Test WP sites.
 * **Regarding the leftover class:**
   I would understand if this was the case only
   for the blocks introduced by Spectra, but I did not expect this for “standard”
   blocks like headlines and images. This builds a dependence like from Elementor
   I’m seeking to avoid when installing content layout plugins. I need to investigate
   this further if I need to stay just with core functionality.

 * Thank you, [@chrisfo](https://wordpress.org/support/users/chrisfo/) We hope you’ll
   consider Spectra for your other projects when it’s a good fit. We wish you the
   best with your website!
