# Updated plugin – column gaps missing?

 * Since the latest updates, from 1.14.3 to the latest, the column gaps no longer
   have padding? this happened when an existing page got updated (i.e if you next
   update the page).
 * `uagb-column__inner-wrap` no longer has any padding, even when you chooser **
   Wider (30px)** the front end shows nothing? all my columns are now stuck together–
   seems this configuration is ignored altogether?

 * Initially I re-created the blocks on the page, but this proved too time consuming,
   i found that on existing blocks – those that are affected by the lack of column
   gaps, if I choose **Edit as HTML** and then clicked **Edit visually** without
   actually editing anything, and then re-publish/update the page the column gaps
   appear again, seems the HTML doesn’t get updated unless i do this, seems the 
   update has adjusted something which has affected the HTML?

 * Thank you for reaching us out here. That does not happen ideally. Things should
   work as it is with the new update. And once you edit the as HTML the block properties
   are gone. You must not do that unless you actually want to lose the block properties.

 * I’ve sent a support ticket for this, as it has affected another website too. 
   Just looking at the other posts here, it does look like previous configurations
   users have set in the backend – i.e. advanced columns, are not being represented
   in the front-end – this seems to be as a result of recent updates to the plugin.

 * I’ve also noticed that margins being set for the advanced columns no longer work
   using twentynineteen theme (child or parent), but fine on twentytwenty.
 * Recreate:
    • Use twentynineteen theme. • Create a new page. • Add an advanced
   column. • Add some content in the column. • Change either top or bottom margin
   to something like 1000px. • Save. • The page margins are **not** represented 
   in the front end, because twentynineteen styles are overriding the margins user
   has defined. Paddings are fine.
