Sorry that things aren’t working right. Would you check to see if the gallery works in the Twenty Fourteen theme? We think that there could be a conflict between your theme and Aesop.

Your assumption was correct, lightbox works in 2014 theme (although theres still that mysterious little rectangle in the top left of every image).
Can you direct me to a link of the previous plugin before the update. I would like to revert to that as it was working previously

If the Aesop Gallery works in 2014 theme, then that says there’s a conflict with your specific WordPress theme. Is it possible for us to test with your theme? I did find that the lightbox works on mobile safari

The update in your WP dashboard actually won’t come through until the end of the week, sorry for the miscommunication. So what we would advise you do is download the most recent version here if you’d like: https://github.com/bearded-avenger/aesop-core/archive/dev.zip
Hey Michael, tried replacing the aesop folder with the one you linked to v1.2 and unfortunately it didn’t work.
Going back to V1.0.9 did work. My site is still work in progress and not public so if you want me to try other versions let me know
