Update/Loss?

    If I update to the newest version of this theme, will I lose my edits? I had a developer go in and add a custom .php page, amongst other things. Is there much to be lost if I simply don’t update this theme?

    When you click update theme in WP, the theme files will be overriden. Any changes made directly to the theme files will be lost.

    Changes made to the functionalities of the theme using child theme will not be lost.
