# Updating Header.php

 * I’m sure this is a stupid question, but I am trying to edit my Header.php file,
   I’m using a Macbook Air. I can’t seem to figure out how to make the file writeable
   so I can change the google meta tag to verify my site. Any help is much appreciated,
   thanks!

 * Thank you! So…that’s the other issue I’ve been having, I’m not able to update
   or install new Plugins, I get the following error:
 * Could not create directory. /home3/rokicons/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-
   seo/
 * Plugin install failed.
 * I am at a loss in terms of what to do at this point – is there a file within 
   my site I need to change or update? I am such a novice when it comes to web design,
   any help is much appreciated!

 * That message is also likely a file permissions error. If you site is on a server,
   that’s where you need to change the permissions, not on your local computer.

 * You may need to ask your hosting company for help with this.
