Updating old plugin deprecated code

    Hi..

    I have plugin, but only works up to wp 4.3-4.4, and the developer no longer support it. The issue of course because of deprecated code. For deprecated code, can I just replace it with newer one? I’m gonna use this plugin for personal use only, not to share it with anyone.
