# Updraft Dissapeared!

 * So I’ve been running Updraft for quite a while now without issue. Today I went
   to my plugins section and noticed Updraft was missing. I never uninstalled it
   so I thought it was strange. When I went to install it again, I got an error 
   telling me FOLDER ALREADY EXISTS.
 * Where do I go from here to get Updraft bak up and running?

 * Can you please login with FTP to your server and check if you see updraftplus
   folder inside ‘wp-content/plugins’?

 * Yes. I deleted it, reinstalled and am good to go now. Why would this plugin just
   disappear on me like that?

 * Hi,
 * That’s a difficult question to answer. Plugins don’t install or updates themselves–
   those functions are carried out by WordPress core. The most likely possibility
   is that WordPress crashed whilst updating it, leaving behind something incomplete.
