# Updraft Plus restore bug

 * Hi, I’m using the free version of Updraft Plus to roll back my site after a theme
   update broke things.
 * The restoration process is stuck at the first step: “Verifying.”
 * I clicked the link to open the log file in a new tab. Log file says the restore
   completed successfully. And the site looks properly restored.
 * Can I just close the browser tab that’s hung on verifying? Should I not worry
   about it?

 * I’m afraid you cannot close the browser while it is processing. I suspect that
   the process has been stoped.
 * To help us work out the cause of your problem, can you please send us a copy 
   of the restoration log?
    You can find this log in the ‘wp-content/updraft’ directory
   of your site via FTP. Please copy the contents into an online tool (such as [http://pastebin.com/](http://pastebin.com/))
   or upload it to cloud storage and share the link here.

 * Bryle, hi –
 * I did close the browser last night, and the site is fine. Fully restored, as 
   the log says:

 * So why was the wizard hanging at the first verifying step? Weird, right?

 * Weird! I am not exactly sure why it hanged but there two causes I can think of
   1) Browser hanged 2) process got killed off.
 * I am glad that the restoration process successfully completed thought. If you
