UpdraftPlus change my php memory by itself

    Hi, simple question why UpdraftPlus change my php memory to 256M by itself?

    In my setup is 128M , if i deactivate UpdraftPlus its back to 128M but when i activate the plugin by itself it puts 256M.

    is this a normal behavior by UpdraftPlus control itself the php memory?

    Hi,

    UpdraftPlus does rely on your server resources to take backups but it does not change the PHP memory by itself.

    I dont know why by deactivating the plugin the php memory limit goes to the one selected in server, after activating goes to 256

    Hi,

    Changing this value normally involved the addition of a line of code to the wp-config php, UpdraftPlus has neither the permissions or ability to do this.
