# UpdraftPlus Error

 * I’m trying to back up my wordpress files to **UpdraftPlus** to upgrade to the
   new wordpress and I’m not sure it is working. It keeps saying
 * > ZipArchive::Close returned an error
 * Is this an error or does it take a while to back up the files?
 * Any help would be appreciated!

 * If I may add to your post alexisszx3, I am having the same problem.
 * The log looks like this:
 *     ```
       0357.550 (5) Zip: backup_2013-06-28-0539_My_Site_8762f4e93338-themes.zip.tmp: 800 files added (on-disk size: 7672.1 Kb)
       0373.624 (5) Adding batch to zip file: over 1.5 seconds have passed since the last write (0.3 Mb); re-opening (prior size: 7672.1 Kb)
       0374.192 (5) ZipArchive::Close returned an error
       ```
   
 * It loops like that for a period of time, then it starts counting files in the
   zip… again…
 *     ```

       0178.990 (5) Zip: backup_2013-06-28-0539_My_Site_8762f4e93338-themes.zip.tmp: 400 files added (on-disk size: 7672.1 Kb)
       0218.889 (5) Zip: backup_2013-06-28-0539_My_Site_8762f4e93338-themes.zip.tmp: 500 files added (on-disk size: 7672.1 Kb)
       0294.278 (5) Zip: backup_2013-06-28-0539_My_Site_8762f4e93338-themes.zip.tmp: 600 files added (on-disk size: 7672.1 Kb)

 * I don’t know how to abort the backup to stop this looping. Any help would be 
   appreciated. Thank you.
