# Upgrade 3.3.1 No Automatic Button

 * I have been asked to update a 3.3.1 version but there is no automatic button 
   showing.
 * Theme appears to be Basix/Starkers ver3.0. I’m not familiar with this theme.
 * Anyone got any views on this?
 * I am thinking that I will need to do a manual install but will theme be compatible.

 * I’m afraid there’s no way to know this. I would suggest switching to the default
   Twenty Eleven (?) theme before carrying out the upgrade.

 * Thanks for that advice. I can not afford for this to fall over. Thinking of copying
   into subdomain and updating that first.

 * Right I’ve worked out how theme works but it was last released in 2010.
