Upgrade Help

    I upgraded my version of wp and Im having this problem.
    I can’t write a post or even see my posts.
    This is the error I get

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_shortcode_regex() in /home/raven/public_html/viddlesandbits.com/wp-includes/formatting.php on line 95

    I tried searching the forums and reuploaded the files like the posts I found suggested and it didn’t help.
    Can someone please help me.

    I’d first consider deleting the WordPress files, then reupload, per Steps 7 and 8 in Upgrading_WordPress_Extended.

    I did that, and it still didn’t change anything, any other suggestions anyone.. Please!
    Any and all help would be appreciated.

    That function,get_shortcode_regex(), is in defined in the file wp-includes/shortcodes.php, so at a minimum, try deleting, then reuploading that file.

    If using FileZilla set to Transfer Type to auto and other FTP use ASCII upload mode.
