Hi,
The info you’ve provided doesn’t help much to identify the problem. Can you provide more details?

Thanks for the reply.
I’m not sure there is much that I can add. I click upgrade to launch the upgrade and nothing happens in the window. I get a white screen that says “”Update WordPress” in the topleft hand corner of the screen and then nothing…
Can you provide a screenshot of your browser console?
And also check your server error logs for the domain. It could provide some info regarding the problem.
What is the best way to provide a screen shot as I tried pasting into here and it didn’t work?
Hi Achyuth, I’m not sure how to check the server error log. Can you advise please?
Upload the screenshot anywhere on your server and paste the link here.
To check server error logs, if you are using cPanel check the root folder of your WordPress installation. You can see a file called error_log (It will only be present, if the site encountered any errors).
Thanks. There is no file called error_log.
I am using a hosting centre for my website and am not sure how to provide the link as you need a login and password to access the site.
just upload the screenshot image to your server and paste the link here.
No. this doesn’t work. Use any of the following image hosting services. Upload & share the link.

Jim, open the website in chrome & follow the steps.
1. Right click & select Inspect.
2. Click on Console Tab. Expand if necessary.
3. Take a screenshot, upload it & share the link.
