• Hello Pronamic,

I’m using your plugin for the occasional purchase on my website.

I am however stumbling upon a notification/nag on every page in my dashboard. Could you please read section 11. of the guidelines?

    https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/about/guidelines/

I know you’re trying to make a well-deserved profit for your excellent plugin but I think the notification should only pop up when nearing the limit of 20/month.

    Thanks 🙂

P.S. Could you make an example demo site for Orbis? I’d like to check it out but I’m really unsure about what it actually is.

Sorry for the inconvenience of the admin notice, but without licenses we won’t be able to further develop, maintain and support this plugin. Also, the functionality is not limited by any means and the plugin will still work without upgrading.

Please find the Orbis frontend demo site at http://orbis.demo.pronamic.eu

    Hi Reüel,

    Thanks for following up.

As I stated before, I believe you took the nuisance of programming and securing for connecting iDeal out of our hands, and therefor deserve a well earned bonus on this free plugin.

As a plugin designer myself, I do however believe that there are better ways than hijacking the dashboard, in fact I think that per example above (when nearing the limit of 20) would work much better, as a kind reminder: “You’re doing well, now pay us for this plugin! :D”, rather than: “Hey! Listen! D:”

The plugin rules are there for a reason, after all. And I don’t think that some authors have more rights to break those than others.

I’m only receiving a few payments a month through iDeal, and the rest through bank transfers and it’s becoming quite annoying.
Just to note, I do have a key for a different site within my MultiSite network which receives more payments.

Please reconsider. Hijacking every single page isn’t always the answer.

P.S. Thank you for posting the link to the demo 🙂

Thank you for your feedback, we’ll keep this in mind as we are trying to improve the plugin experience.
