 * When I upgrade a plugin – should I just replace ALL plugin files?
 * I just had a thought: do pluging ever change files within their own directories?

   Like setting files or something? If I just over wrote, then these setting smight
   get over written?
 * Thanks
 * Omar

 * The files and the data are separate. Why not just automatically upgrade from
   admin instead of uploading? Is it a custom plugin?

 * aaah… well that was another question i had
    i’d like to do this
 * **question**: why does automatic upgrading sometimes fail?
 * it seems to be hit and miss for me – it’s ok for some plugins and not ok for
   others
 * is this a common problem?
 * thanks
