I use very similar code from Subscribe2 HTML and it’s working fine in WordPress 4.9.2.

I upgraded to WordPress 4.9.2 and and now the Subscribe 2 plug function for confirming subscribers is not working. Before I would Filter to show the Unconfirmed subscribers, then select Toggle and click apply and they would change to Confirmed. Now nothing happens.
Also, is there a setting that sets a new subscriber as Confirmed, without having to click the link in the confirmation email?

This is a known issue in 10.22.1, I submitted a fix a while ago but is was never released.

Also, where is the file containing the subscribers emails that I need to save and then copy back to the new version of Subscribe2?

The FTP steps are the ones to follow there.
The list of subscribers are stored in the database tables, not a file. So back your whole database up first.

Hi Matt
I have just tested the Subscribe 2 plugin on our dev environment and asked someone to subscribe but i don’t see them on the list of Registered or Public subscribers.
I’ve followed the above steps

Can you give more detail, whcih version of Subscribe2 and from where? What version of WordPress? What steps did the ‘someone’ follow and what screen messages did they see? Did they get an email?
