# upload button shortcode, parameters “author”

 * maybe it’s just my site or maybe it’s a bug, but I noticed that the _author_ 
   and _author\_edit_ tags are not working for the “upload file” shortcode, i.e.
   the author field is not showing at all

 * its a small bug… try changing the tag to real_author_edit see if that works.

 * that did the trick **🙂**
    btw, is it possible to hide the text labels and have
   them inside the field? I can see that, for instance, _author_ has it translated
   but _title_ has an empty field
