# upload error

 * When writing a post, the “file upload” cell in the post editor gives me [this error message](http://www.thesimonsens.net/documents/upload.jpg).
 * I’ve tried using a different directory, and I’m confused as to why it won’t work.
 * I have two other wordpress installations on the same server that each have their
   own directory on the server. Their installations are identical as far as I can
   tell, however, I have no trouble uploading files within the post editor.
 * Any ideas?
