# Upload error

 * Since updating to v2.5 anytime i try to upload an image i get an error, i tried
   ticking the box to disable optimisation when uploading but its still the same,
   can you please advise?

 * A few things to check:
 * 1. Does the issue persist with EWWW completely deactivated?
 * 2. Check your server error logs for messages. Also turn on debugging in the wp-
   config.php file and see if any error messages are displayed.
 * 3. Activate the javascript console in Chrome or Firefox (Ctrl+Shift+I), and see
   if there are any javascript errors during upload. If not, use the console to 
   see what the output is from the ajax response during upload.

 * Hi,
 * No, once deactivated, i can upload images without errors.
 * Sorry i don’t have anytime to debug right now, i have to launch a new online 
   store tomorrow and have a lot of little final tweaks to do.

 * Strange, I just did 4 image uploads 400kb to 3MB, and had no trouble on any of
   them. There do seem to be a LOT of resizes on that site, so perhaps that has 
   something to do with it. Do you remember which particular image you were having
   trouble with?

 * Thats bizarre because i just tried and got an error. Can you give me your email
   address and ill send you 2 images that i was trying to upload and see if you 
   can upload them?
