 * Can I restrict the user to upload folder?
    I want to make folder where lecturer
   can upload files for the students and they can download them. I need the students
   can access only to the folder of the course they learn

 * This can be done in combination with WP-Filebase plugin and Members plugin.
 * This is a proposed solution:
 *  – Install Members plugin [http://wordpress.org/plugins/members/](http://wordpress.org/plugins/members/)
   –
   Install WP-Filebase plugin [http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-filebase/](http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-filebase/)–
   Create a new User Role from the Dashboard / Users / Add New Role and give it
   a name like Course1 (or whatever you like corresponding to a specific course).–
   Set all students that learn this course to that role. – Create a new WP-Filebase
   category from Dashboard / WP-Filebase / categories. Give it a similar name (like
   Course1). Set access permissions only to the newly created role, so that students
   that learn this course to be able to have access. – Set attribute uploadpath
   of the WordPress File Upload plugin to be uploadpath=”/uploads/filebase/course1″
   so that when the lecturer uploads files they will go to that folder. – Link WP-
   Filebase plugin with a specific page of your website to be the file library.
   Then, whenever a student logs in your website and goes to that page, he will
   have access only to the course files belonging to the specific role and will
   be able to download them.
 * You can follow the same procedure for as many courses you want.
 * This is a bit complicated procedure, however it is effective.
 * Let me know if you need any more assistance.
 * Best Regards

 * Thanks.
    I think I got it right, I need to some more checking to be sure. I have
   some more questions: 1. How I can translate the plugins to my language? 2. Do
   I need s2member plugin if I using the method you wrote?, this plugin very complicated
   and I having troubles with. 3. Student can access only one course with his user
   name and I need to define each student?, I can make him access more then one
   course (folder)? 4. How I define lecturer ? I create new role with the courses
   he teach and give him capability to upload files or just the admin can do it?
   5. I need to give the student the link to where he can download his files? 6.
   I did not understand this part “Set attribute uploadpath of the WordPress File
   Upload plugin to be uploadpath=”/uploads/filebase/course1″ so that when the lecturer
   uploads files they will go to that folder” 7. There is option that student can
   access all the course even if he do not learn them, so it is not necessary to
   denied access but I still be needed to make folder for each course, this make
   procedure more esay?
 * I believe I will have more questions, but this is the ones I think of now.
 * P.S.
    Can we continue the discussion on private by emails?
