How the error mistake looks like? I have previously met this issue, and the error message is “…….has failed to upload due to an error
Unable to create directory /home/roborobo/public_html/……..”
I just change the permission to 777 for /wp-content/ and /wp-content/uploads/ folders. And the issue is resolved.
My site automatically updated to 4.1.2 yesterday, and now I can’t upload photos either.
Seems to only happen from the “select featured image” of posts.
When I drag and drop, or when I browse to the folder, the upload starts then throws the error:
“An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.”
I’ve tried PNG and JPG from a network drive and a local C: drive. No combo of options will upload. /wp-content/uploads is already 777.
When I upload files directly within the Media library, they work.
Any ideas?

I am having the same problem and do not have any experience with coding, etc. My site uploaded automatically yesterday. I tried deactivating all plugins, and updated my theme, Travelify to their latest version but neither seemed to help. Any ideas!! http://www.jadescapades.com

Hello people, I resolved this issue on my own. I deactivated WP optimize and a few other plugins which were optimizing/lazy loading my images. For you guys it maybe a different plugin. Deactivate your plugins and tell me how it works?
