 * Hi Jeff!
 * Thanks for your plugin.
    Just one question:
 * I would like to use a simple uploader to let guests upload images (and videos)
   via the frontend.
    This content shall be reviewed by a moderator (eg via administrator
   panel). After being approved the content shall be pushed into a specific folder
   on the webspace or directly somewhere on a Google Drive or Dropbox.
 * Is that somehow possible with your plugin? If it is not toooooo much of coding(
   newbie) I could also adjust the plugin code to get this running. Or do you maybe
   even know another plugin which would better suit these needs?
 * Many thanks!

 * Hi lollipopsystem,
 * Glad to help. USP currently supports image uploads but is not integrated with
   Google Drive or Dropbox. It might be possible with some custom coding, but I’ve
   not yet tried anything like it.

 * Just to follow up with this, I noticed your requirements could include the “webspace”,
   which I assume is the WP `/uploads/` directory. If so, then yes I think USP should
   be able to handle your requirements:
 * 1) “content shall be reviewed by a moderator (eg via administrator panel)”
 * Yes, you can set the Post Status to whatever you want (e.g., Draft, Pending,
   Publish, etc)
 * 2) “After being approved the content shall be pushed into a specific folder on
   the webspace”
 * Yes, here is how it works: user submits a post with images. The images are automatically
   uploaded to the WP Media Library (aka the `/uploads/` directory), and the post
   is sent to the Admin Area for moderation.
 * I hope this helps!

 * Thanks a lot for clarifying.
 * I am following up on your second point in the second post:
 * – It is uploading the files into a folder under /uploads depending on the date,
   right? So an image uploaded in November would be put under /2016/11/… and one
   in December in /2016/12/…, right? Can I also select just one specific folder?
   If yes, how?
 * – The folder is scanned with another tool not included in WordPress and should
   only contain already approved images. How can I ensure that no unapproved images
   are saved in the specific upload-folder?
 * Hope this helps to further explain my requirements.
 * Thanks a lot for helping out here!

 * With the free version of USP, the location of image uploads depends on your WP
   settings. You can choose to upload all images directly into the `/uploads/` directory,
   or organize them based on the year and month. With USP Pro, you can [customize the location of the file uploads](https://plugin-planet.com/usp-pro-custom-uploads-directory/).
 * “How can I ensure that no unapproved images are saved in the specific upload-
   folder?”
 * Currently there isn’t an option to moderate posts and images separately. When
   a user submits a post, images are added to the Media Library (i.e., uploaded
   to the uploads directory). You then can choose to publish or delete the post,
   but the attached images are not automatically deleted. That’s just how WP works:
   uploaded images are not automatically deleted when their associated post is deleted.
   You have to do it manually or find a plugin, etc.

 * Many thanks for clarification.
    I see that the described use case is not easily
   to implement with this plugin.

 * Sure, glad to help anytime.
    Also, “easy to implement” is relative depending
   on experience 🙂
 * Update: gonna go ahead and mark this topic as “resolved” to help keep things
   organized. Feel free to post afresh if I may provide any further infos. Thank
   you.
