# upload localhost theme to wordpress website

 * I am really hoping someone can help me out. I created a wordpress theme on my
   localhost. I now want to take that theme and upload it to my website. I currently
   have a wordpress theme activated that I want to replace with this new one.
 * I have tried to follow the links in the wordpress forums of moving a website.
   However this doesnt appear to work for me. As of right now, I have me new theme
   downloaded and can see it in the appearance panel. However, the two times I tried
   to activate it, my server crashed. I was finally able to get support from UplinkEarth
   and they repaired the problem. I am hoping for any guidance on how to upload 
   a localhost them to a already existing wordpress website.

 * That sounds like your custom theme has serious problems. Have you checked your
   server’s error logs for clues?
