# Uploading .flv Secutiry Problems

 * I desperatly need some help. I have been trying to upload .flv files so I can
   insert them into my Blog. Everytime I do this I get a message that says ‘did 
   not meet security guidelines try another’.
 * Can anyone please help and give a clue! (take it gently though I am not an experienced
   user)
 * Ta.

 * This is because the flv mime-type is not in the list of allowed mime-types in
   a standard WordPress install.
 * You can extend this list using my WordPress mime-config plugin which can be downloaded
