 * I followed all the steps that is documented in this post: [http://wordpress.org/support/topic/40686](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/40686)
   including searching for and replacing the offending line (actually I found that
   when you export the file and choose MYSQL compatibility in the first place it
   doesn’t contain the offending line). However, when I import (whatever compatibility
   I choose) I get this error message and I am stumped. Can anyone help, please?
 * Error message follows:
 * Server: localhost – Database: intheout_wrdp1
    Error There is a chance that you
   may have found a bug in the SQL parser. Please examine your query closely, and
   check that the quotes are correct and not mis-matched. Other possible failure
   causes may be that you are uploading a file with binary outside of a quoted text
   area. You can also try your query on the MySQL command line interface. The MySQL
   server error output below, if there is any, may also help you in diagnosing the
   problem. If you still have problems or if the parser fails where the command
   line interface succeeds, please reduce your SQL query input to the single query
   that causes problems, and submit a bug report with the data chunk in the CUT
   section below: —-BEGIN CUT—- eNqdkM1y2yAUhfc8xV1kKbBAceqwU2zV8YxkKUJNO9k02KaxpuinCMfxs2XRR

 * OK, I managed to successfully import.
 * First, this is my situation:
    I exported from the following system: phpMyAdmin
   2.6.3-pl1/MySQL 4.1.13 and trying to import to the following system: phpMyAdmin
   2.6.4-pl2/MySQL 4.0.25.
 * When I exported, I followed the instructions as per the page above but I chose
   MYSQL40 Compatibility. Instead of saving to a file, I chose open with SQLScriptFile(
   Default). When the resulting file opens up in Notepad, I copied the file to WordPad(
   to ensure the linebreaks are there, so I can visually scan the file to ensure
   it is “all there”). Then I copied that file to the SQL Query text region, and
   hit GO.
 * After a few minutes, the successful import message beamed at me from the screen.
   I checked the resulting tables, and they all seem to be there, intact!
 * Now, to finish the migration! 🙂
