# Uploads folder unwriteable?

 * On my new blog site ([http://solo-dad.com](http://solo-dad.com)) I receive this
   error message whenever I attempt to upload a photo in a post or for a page.
 * _Unable to create directory /wp-content/uploads. Is its parent directory writable
   by the server?_
 * I’ve checked and all directories are permissions are set at 755. I’ve never had
   this happen on other WP blogs.
 * Any ideas?
