# Url issues with WordPress

 * Hey all,
 * This is probably a really dumb question but I’m having issues with my wordpress
   page.
 * I’m running it on my own webhost and have all my DNS setup correctly.
 * The site works fine but the only issue is when I visit the page I can’t just 
   type in my URL, I need to type in [http://www.yourdomain.com/wordpress](http://www.yourdomain.com/wordpress)
   or go to my [http://www.yourdomain.com](http://www.yourdomain.com) and then click
   the wordpress folder.
 * if anyone can help me that would be greatly appreciated!

 * Ignore the parts about moving the core wordpress files (points 1 and 6) and just
   check/modify your set up is as it states.
