# URL mapping

 * Hi,
 * I have started my own wordpress site after using the ones available at wordpress.
   com. However on my wordpress.com account the post are displayed like this:
 * [http://helikid.wordpress.com/2010/09/19/post_name/](http://helikid.wordpress.com/2010/09/19/post_name/)
 * however on my own hosted site I get:
 * [http://helikid.com/?p=465](http://helikid.com/?p=465)
 * How do I make the URL mapping correct? Is it possible or is it a server thing?
 * Any help greatly appreciated
