Url Rewrite Rule

    Hi,
    i’ve setup a custom post type for our products (myblog.com/products/product1)

    is there a way to have a URL rewrite rule so it looks like:
    “myblog.com/product1”

    before doing any of this, backup your wordpress install and database
    if each of your products was in a post, it could be like this
    log into your website and navigate to Settings > Permalinks,
    then choose “Custom Structure” and in the textbox type “/%postname%/” exactly that, without quotes and then click save changes.
