# URL Validator

 * I want to remove the field validator in URL field, but when I put the option 
   and I “save” the change and I go again to the options the change is not saved.

 * Thanks for your reply, I am running wordpress versions 4.9.8 (on the web) and
   5.0.1 (locally) and the problem occurs in both versions, they use different plugins
   and themes so I don’t think the problem is that.
 * The version of BD is 5.4.
 * Yes, I tried the conflict test. The reason why I want to disable this validation
   is because it does not allow to save url with German characters, so temporarily
   I had to disable the function that does that validation in your code, because
   currently it only accepts values from a to z and from 0 to 9, not characters 
   like ä or ö. Maybe you can solve that in next versions.
