# Usage with WP Rest Api?

 * Hello! Before installing Ultimate FAQ I would like to know if this Plugin is 
   fully compatible with the WP Rest Api.
 * Does anyone know?

 * thank you for your questions. We’d like to use U-FAQ on our website, but also
   want to access the FAQs from within our app via REST or something similar.
 * I myself am merely a supporter trying to determine the right product for our 
   needs. The developer has his doubts, that the WP REST-API can be used specifically
   enough for the plugin, since it’s designed for WordPress purposes and he thinks
   the plugin has to provide its own API.
 * Can you tell me if U-FAQ can be used for this purpose or even has its own API?

 * Hi David,
 * Thanks for getting back to me. Our plugin does not have its own API, but it does
   use a post type and you definitely should be able to query that via the REST 
   API by registering your own API endpoint. You can see an example of how that 
   can be done here:
