 * I have several custom post types. When looking at them on the backend, the standard
   WordPress Search doesn’t return any results. I read through many forum posts
   but it seems they all reference searching on the frontend. I just want to search
   through my custom post types and see if the one I want to add already exists
   before I add it.
 * Basically, as I look at my list (for example one of my custom post types is “
   Artists”), I want to be able to use the search box in the upper right, enter
   the name of an artist, click the “Search Artists” button, and have it return
   results.
 * Do I have to install something to make this work?
 * Thank you.

 * Also, I have this same setup on another website (same server) and the backend

 * Same answer as the at the other topic. I think this might be a plugin conflict.
 * Could to try to disable all plugins except Pods and see if the issue persists?

   In a live site I’d advice you to do this with the troubleshooter plugin: [https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/)

 * Same as last ticket. We have to assume the issue has resolved itself as its been
   2 weeks with no further comment.
