# Use shortcode in PHP

 * I would like to know if it is possible to use the shortcode {e-mailit} inside
   of PHP.
    Doing `<?php echo do_shortcode('{e-mailit}'); ?>` does not work unfortunately.

    the shortcode {e-mailit} can be used only in content.
 * If you want to insert our widget in html or php you can produce the required 
   code [here](https://www.e-mailit.com/get-sharing-buttons/website) and insert 
   it in your code.
 * If you have installed the wp plugin, you must insert only the div tags (not the
   javascript code because the plugin automatically inserts it).
