Hello @manuelbeck!
The customizer option is not added to the theme submenu with block-based themes, but you can still access it by navigating to this path: yourwebsite.com/wp-admin/customize.php
Hi there!
Themes that support the Full Site Editor, like the Twenty Twenty-Five theme, do not have access to the classic Customizer. However, you can still change image settings directly from the template.
To change the image size or cropping for the product images on the shop page, you can follow these steps:
- Go to Appearance → Editor.
- In the template, find the Product Catalog template.
- Click on any product image and select the Full Size Image option.
I’ve created a short video to guide you through the process:
https://go.screenpal.com/watch/cTeF1mni12T
Note: You can also set a specific size for the image. I have shown the settings for that in the video.
IF you still need further assistance I would suggest you contact the theme support and asked them to help you to show image as uncropped.
Thank you
Hi,
thanks for your responses. The problem is about the product page. I’m using the classic shortcode based product page. At the bottom of the page, similar products are shown, but the images are cropped. I can nowhere change this, because it’s not a block layout.
Thank you @babylon1999. I didn’t knwo I can open the customizer with a link 🙂
Regards,
Manuel

Hi @manuelbeck,
Yes, you can access the Customizer that way, but since you’re using a block theme, I recommend using the block version instead to display your categories or products.
Alternatively, if you’re comfortable with coding, you can adjust this with CSS.
Hi thanks,
I’m currently using still the shortcode based version for product pages, because some plugins do not support the new block based version.
I corrected it with the old customizer and now it’s working. WooCommerce currently does not offer a block based theme though the block based layout exists. Storefront is not a block based ready theme and does not use the new website editor. Twenty Twenty Five on the other hand does not backport the customization of the old shortcode versions.
How could I adjust the cropping with CSS?
Regards,
Manuel
Hi there!
I understand your concern. However, please note that providing custom CSS code is outside our scope of support. If you need more in-depth support or want to consider professional assistance for customization, I can recommend WooExperts and Codeable.io as options for getting professional help. Alternatively, you can also ask your development questions in the WooCommerce Community Slack as custom code falls outside our usual scope of support.
Hi,
thanks for your response.
It’s ok, I fixed it already with the old customizer 🙂
Regards,
Manuel
