User browsing entry choice

Hi all,
for a new project I would like to design my homepage in a way that the user is being shown three large boxes (with images and some text) as kind of an entry choice. So, imagine this being a question like…
What describes you best:
A B C (let’s say student, parent, teacher)
then having the option to click on one of the three boxes and entering different landing pages depending on their role A, B or C.
I hope I’m getting across what I’m looking for.
Since I am at the very beginning of this project I am still flexible when it comes to the Theme I will be using. So any suggestion of themes that can handle this type of thing are highly appreciated.
