User cannot select category

    I have set up this site so that individual branches can manage their own pages. All have been given the role of author with defined capabilities – including managing categories
    It all worked fine when installed but now, it is not possible for the users to select a category.
    For one of the users one of the categories is already ticked and cannot be deselected.
    I have deactivated and reactivated the plugin, to no avail.
    Also changed one of the users to editor but still could not select a category.
    Your help would be most appreciated.

    Thanks for using PublishPress.

    Sorry, our plugin doesn’t control individual categories like this. There may be something going out that is outside our plugin.

    If you can test more and target something that’s not working correctly with our plugin, please post back with steps of how we can re-create the issue.
